Chronic diseases are the leading causes of death and disability in our country. Director of the OHSU Bob and Charlee Moore Institute for Nutrition & Wellness, Kent Thornburg, PhD, will discuss the role nutrition plays in the rise of chronic diseases, and how nutrition impacts COVID-19 and our ability to overcome this and future pandemics. Dr. Thornburg will share what a good diet and proper nutrition look like and how nutrition before birth and during the earliest years of life establishes life-long chronic disease risk.
